Born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1993, Mariam won the 10th Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht in 2014, was a “Rising Star” of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) and a BBC Young Generation Artist between 2017-19. She is a regular visitor to the Wigmore Hall and other major European venues and is a jury member at the 2024 Leeds International Piano competition.
